Dr. Tony grew up in Eastern Oregon and spent much time on a farm learning the value of hard work. He was a competitive athlete in his youth, but focused on the Javelin after high school. He threw for the All Army Track team and the University of Washington. He ended his throwing career with a bang when he was invited to compete in the ’92 Olympic trials in New Orleans. Dr. Tony went on to receive his Doctorate degree from Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU).
He has been married to his wife, Jamie, since 1987 and they have 3 children. They are also adoptive parents and enjoy continued relationships with many of their former foster children. Dr. Tony is a big kid at heart; his hobbies include camping and riding ATV’s with his family on the Oregon Coast sand dunes, and long range shooting.
Giving back to the community of Redmond is a priority for Dr. Tony. In the past, he has been a volunteer coach with both the Redmond High and Ridgeview High Track and Field teams. Having been a collegiate competitor in the throwing events, he enjoys sharing his love for the sport with the youth of Redmond and has helped several athletes to enjoy successful careers in the throwing events. Dr. Tony is also an active member of the Chamber and supports many of the local youth sports, as well as 4H and FFA.
After being in a group practice in Redmond for 10 years, he opened his own practice allowing him to focus on individual patient care. He and his staff pride themselves in being attentive to their patient’s needs, and on being gentle and down to earth. Per Dr. Tony, “I like to treat each patient as if they were family…with kindness, honesty and compassion”!
Dr. Michael Carreon was raised in Redmond and is a Redmond High School graduate, who is happy to have returned home. He received a Bachelor of Science degree at Oregon State University (OSU) with Magna Cum Laude honors. He is a recent graduate of Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU) Dental School.
Dr. Michael met his wife, Amanda, at OSU. Amanda also continued on to OHSU to earn a degree in Nursing and is very happy serving the Central Oregon community at St. Charles Hospital. When not working, Dr. Michael enjoys all the great outdoor activities Central Oregon has to offer including hiking, golfing, camping and anything to do with water! He also enjoys sports, cooking and will likely be found supporting any and all of the local food.
Dr. Michael believes honesty and integrity should be at the core of everything he does. He strives to treat patients like they are family, while creating a fun and welcoming environment. He is always looking for ways to further his dental education and improve his clinical skills. He is eager to find new and fun ways to volunteer in the area. Dr. Michael and Amanda are both excited to give back and continue to make relationships with the Central Oregon community.
I have lived in Central Oregon for 16 years, and been a dental assistant for 23+ years. My favorite part of my job is getting to know my patients and building relationships with them. I enjoy being part of a team whose number one goal is taking care of our patient’s needs. I look forward to coming to work and spending the day with this group of people.
On my off time I enjoy spending time with family and our grandchildren. I am involved with our wrestling mat club and love watching our family sporting events which include baseball and football. When I am not involved with our kids, I enjoy reading and photography.
I have been a hygienist for over 11 years and have worked for Dr. Parsley for 8 of those. The part I love most about my job is working with people and helping them improve their dental health. I truly love forming relationships with our patients.
I grew up on an orchard in the Hood River Valley and also have roots in the Madras area. I currently live in Redmond with my husband and our dog, Kiwi. Some of our favorite activities include camping, riding our motorcycle, and spending time with our 11 nieces and nephews.
I moved back to Oregon in 2012 after an extended stay in California where I earned my dental hygiene degree at Loma Linda University. Since moving to Central Oregon I have been working for Dr. Tony and I love being part of such a great team!
My husband Jon and I both grew up in Silverton Oregon, and we love the sunnier weather and all the amazing outdoor activities on this side of the mountains. When I’m not working as a hygienist I’m lucky to be a stay at home mom to our two son’s Ben and Levi. We love hiking, camping and just enjoying this amazing place that is central Oregon.
I was raised in beautiful Redmond, Oregon where I attended school from the day I started Kindergarten until the day I graduated from Central Oregon Community College with an Associate of Arts Oregon Transfer Degree in 2015. After graduating from Oregon Tech in the spring of 2018 with my Bachelor of Science Degree in Dental Hygiene, I moved back home to Redmond where I have had the amazing experience of working for Dr. Tony and being surrounded by coworkers who have quickly become my closest friends. I love getting to know so many members of our community and helping them achieve healthy smiles that they can be proud of. I currently still live in Redmond with my incredible husband Jonny and our two adorable kitties, Tinley and Tucker. When I am not working, I can usually be found at the gym, hiking, playing tennis, reading, or spending time with friends and family.
A true local, I grew up right here in Redmond, Oregon. In 2013 I flew away on the wings of Owls to earn my Bachelors Degree in Dental Hygiene from the Oregon Institute of Technology. I’ve been in the field for four years and spent the last two in sunny Chandler, Arizona. As much as I enjoyed the warmth of the Sonoran Desert, it was time for me to return home to the community I love. I’m so glad to be back with this incredible team at Dr. Tony and Dr. Michael’s office. It feels good to know that each patient who walks through our door is getting the absolute best care.
Outside of work, I enjoy learning about the wines and cuisines of the modern world, day dreaming of Saguaro cacti and 110 degree heat, stylistically pretending I live in the 1960s, and relentlessly studying the life and leadership methods of Michael Gary Scott.
I am married to my incredible husband, Andrew. We make a great team! He makes me laugh and I help him adult.
I have worked in dentistry for 22 years and I truly love what I do. I began my career as a dental assistant and transitioned to the front desk after 8 years. One of the best parts of my day is getting to know the patients and building relationships. I feel very blessed to be part of Dr. Parsley’s staff and work family.
I grew up in Central Oregon and I can’t imagine living anywhere else. My husband and I have been married for over 22 years and we live here in Redmond with our 2 dogs, Nox and Riggs. In our free time we’re outside as much as possible; hiking, hunting and camping or spending time with family and friends.
I was born and raised in Silver Lake, Oregon and moved to Redmond in 2015 to continue education as a business major. After completing two years at Central Oregon Community College, and earning a degree in Business Management, I started my own photography business. Shortly after, I opened a small western fashion clothing Boutique. Still in search of a true passion and career, I was given the opportunity to shadow here at Highland Family Dental, and found a love for the industry that I never thought I would. I have been assisting ever since.
In my spare time, I enjoy spending time outdoors, going to rodeos and other events, and farming with my family.
I was born and raised in a small Alaskan town where the Iditarod Trail Sled Dog Race ends. With the snow covered terrain, winter has always been one of my favorite seasons.
I moved to Oregon with my other half in 2017 before starting a family of our own. We now have 2 rambunctious boys and 2 dogs. In my free time I like to get outdoors with my family.
Some of my favorite activities include camping and hiking.
My mom introduced me to the dental field, having been a dental assistant for as long as I can remember. I have been assisting for Highland Family Dental since late 2020 and have enjoyed every day of it.
I work as a patient service coordinator at Highland Family Dental. I’m new to Dentistry and I can say I am so happy to be apart of this Team! I love forming relationships with patients and recognizing familiar faces. Seeing a patient get the best care is such a great feeling and being a part of that experience makes me really grateful.
I was raised in beautiful Central Oregon. Outside of work I enjoy weightlifting, Hiking, camping, and spending time with Family and Friends.
I have lived in Central Oregon all my life and this is my first job in the dental field. I am so excited to be part of such an incredible team! Everyone here is extremely kind and honest, and I love being able to talk with patients every day.
Outside of work I’m usually playing spikeball, volleyball, pickleball, rollerblading, enjoying any activity involving water, or playing video games.
It has been a joy for the past 17 years working as a dental assistant, and being a member of a team of great professionals who also love what they do. Getting to know our patients and helping to provide a positive and enjoyable experience is very rewarding. I have a wide range of experience working with oral surgery, orthodontics, and general dentistry. A central Oregon resident since 1977 and a mother of two, my husband and I (and our dog Tarzan) spend our days off enjoying backcountry adventures in the local mountains.
