Dr. Tony Parsley
Dr. Tony grew up in Eastern Oregon and spent much of his time on a farm learning the value of hard work. He was a competitive athlete in his youth, but focused on the javelin after high school. He threw for the All Army Track team and the University of Washington. He ended his throwing career with a bang when he was invited to compete in the ’92 Olympic trials in New Orleans. Dr. Tony went on to receive his Doctorate degree from Oregon Health and Science University (OHSU).
He has been married to his wife, Jamie, since 1987 and they have 3 children. They are also adoptive parents and enjoy continued relationships with many of their former foster children. Dr. Tony is a big kid at heart with a passion for camping and riding ATV’s with his family on the sand dunes of the Oregon Coast.
Giving back to the community of Redmond is a priority for Dr. Tony. In the past, he has been a volunteer coach with both the Redmond High and Ridgeview High Track and Field teams. Having been a collegiate competitor in the throwing events, he enjoys sharing his love for the sport with the youth of Redmond and has helped several athletes to enjoy successful careers in the throwing events. Dr. Tony is also an active member of the Chamber and supports many of the local youth sports, as well as 4H and FFA.
After being in a group practice in Redmond for 10 years, he opened his own practice allowing him to focus on individual patient care. He and his staff pride themselves in being attentive to their patient’s needs, and on being gentle and down to earth. Per Dr. Tony, “I like to treat each patient as if they were family…with kindness, honesty, and compassion!”
I have lived in Central Oregon for 10 years, and I have been a dental assistant for 17+ years. I love getting to know my patients and building relationships with them. I enjoy being part of a team whose number one goal is taking care of our patient’s needs. I look forward to coming to work and spending the day with this group of people.
On my off time, I enjoy spending time with my new granddaughter. I am involved with our mat club wrestling and love watching our family sporting events which include baseball, softball, football, and volleyball. When I am not involved with our kids, I enjoy reading and photography. I love capturing those special moments.
I have been a hygienist for almost 6 years and have worked for Dr. Parsley for over 2 of those years. The part I love most about my job is working with people and helping them improve their dental health.
I grew up on an orchard in the Hood River Valley and also have roots in the Madras area. I currently live in Redmond with my fiancée and our dog, Kiwi. Some of our favorite activities include camping and riding our motorcycle.
I moved back to Oregon in 2012 after an extended stay in California where I earned my dental hygiene degree at Loma Linda University. Since moving to Central Oregon, I have been working for Dr. Tony and I love being part of such a great team!
My husband Jon and I both grew up in Silverton, Oregon, and we are loving the sunnier weather and all the amazing outdoor activities on this side of the mountains. In the winter, we like to snowboard and just got some snowshoes. In summer, we love to hike, camp, and canoe. I also really like making things and am into knitting, sewing and baking. We are the proud owners of a ball obsessed dog named Pearl and a cute kitty named Scooter.
I have been fortunate enough to work for Dr. Tony since moving to Central Oregon over 14 years ago. I appreciate spending each day with an amazing team who are all vested in providing as pleasant an experience as is possible in a dental setting. We all enjoy what we do and work hard to care for our patients. While doing so, we also have a ton of fun and have become a very cohesive group. I started my dental career 32 years ago as a dental assistant, then processed dental insurance claims and finally moved into the front office where I have been since. I am grateful for the things I have learned in every facet of my career. I am a mother of two and love spending time with my family. After 32 years of marriage, my husband and I will soon be “empty-nesters” and are looking forward to new adventures together.
I moved to Central Oregon with my husband, a Redmond native, 12 years ago. I began my career path in the dental field 8 years ago and have been passionate about it from the beginning. I most enjoy the patient care and interaction on a daily basis and getting to know different members of our community. On my time off, my family and I enjoy golf and trips to the desert for camping and 4-wheeling.
I was born and raised in Beavercreek, Oregon and graduated from Portland Community College with a degree is Dental Assisting (EFDA & ODA). In 2009 I received a Medical Transcription degree as well. I have been in the Medical/Dental field for over 22 years and greatly enjoy working with others, comforting patients and being a part of an amazing team. After assisting for 10 years I decided to expand my knowledge begin working up front; where I can still do what I love and help assist when needed. When I am not working I enjoy spending time with my family, camping and being outdoors when I can.
